ProductDescription

APerspex organ bath with fine thermostatic temperature control, electronicstirrer and complete set of accessories, making it a versatile unit for allresearch work. Bath 1298, with leak proof dovetailed joints, resting insturdy metal frame; top of the bath carries a 13/8 hick band, for fixingaccessories, inside the bath is a metal sheathed heating element (easilyreplicable) controlled by means of a fine adjustable thermostat withsensitivity 1c. The stirrer unit is completely independent and dips in thebath in one corner, fixing on its special stainless steel upright. A M.S.Junction box is fitted to the bath frame and carries all the electrical leadsand connections two pilot lamps indicate functioning of the thermostat andstirrer.

Standardcomponents are:

Double set or glass inner vessels

       Oxygen tubes

       Warming coils

       Two stainless steel capillary levers

Four stainless steel uprights with boss heads

       X block

Superior Temperature Control and Stability

Each chamber in the ConXport Student Organ Bath Double Unit is equipped with independent thermostatic control, ensuring precise temperature regulation up to 60C with an accuracy of 1C. The water-jacketed outer chamber further maintains thermal stability, making the system suitable for reliable organ and tissue experiments in academic settings.

Enhanced Usability and Maintenance Features

Designed with easy drainage, removable components, and non-slip rubber feet, the bath ensures safe and convenient usage in student laboratories. Transparent perspex covers allow direct observation of samples, and all accessoriesincluding lever systems, tubes, and kymograph compatibilityare provided for a comprehensive experimental setup.

FAQs of ConXport Student Organ Bath Double Unit:

Q: How do I set up and operate the ConXport Student Organ Bath Double Unit?

A: Begin by assembling the unit on a stable, vibration-free surface using the heavy metal stand and rubber feet. Fill each bath chamber with physiological solution to the desired level (maximum 1.5 L per chamber), and connect the immersion heater to a 220-240V AC mains supply. Set the thermostat for precise temperature control. Use the built-in stirrer to ensure temperature uniformity and attach needed accessories for your experiment.

Q: What types of experiments is the organ bath unit suitable for?

A: This unit is ideal for student-level experiments in pharmacology and tissue/organ studies. It can be used for maintaining, perfusing, and observing tissue or organ samples under physiologically controlled conditions, especially for demonstration and educational purposes.

Q: When should I use the dual independent chambers feature?

A: The dual chambers are beneficial when conducting parallel experiments or comparative studies requiring separate temperature environments. Each chamber can be controlled independently, allowing for simultaneous experimentation with different conditions or samples.

Q: Where is the optimal environment for utilizing this equipment?

A: The organ bath unit is best suited for educational laboratories, pharmacology departments, or research facilities in universities and colleges. It should be operated indoors on a stable bench, away from water-sensitive equipment and high-traffic areas to avoid disturbance during experiments.

Q: What is the cleaning and maintenance process for the unit?

A: After experiments, use the easy drainage facility to fully empty the chambers. Clean all removable parts with appropriate laboratory cleaning solutions, ensuring the stainless steel, perspex, and aluminum components remain residue-free. Regular servicing is straightforward due to the accessible design, which supports uncomplicated disassembly and reassembly.

Q: How does the organ bath benefit student learning and research?

A: This instrument enables hands-on pharmacology education, allowing students to observe real-time physiological reactions in organ/tissue samples. The units stability, precision, and observational transparency enhance experimental outcomes, making complex procedures more accessible and instructive.
