DoubleSurface Phototherapy Unit CFL are made of Mild Steel Epoxy Powder Coated.

DoubleSurface Phototherapy Unit is used by new born baby to cure Jaundice. Jaundicecan pose a serious problem because of high level of billirubin which canpermanently damage the brain. This indirect billirubin which is not watersoluble and can be decomposed to a harmless metabolic which is water solubleand does not cross blood brain barrier and is rapidly excreted in the bile andurine and so does not accumulate. This is achieved by exposing the infant tobright light (app. 4.5 micro watts/sq.cm/nm) in the range of 420 to 480nm wavelength.

Theunit is mobile, mounted on 4 castors 2 with brakes & 2 withoutbrakes.

Thebase of the product conveniently goes beneath a bed or a trolley and can alsobe adjusted with the warmer / Incubator. The Chokes are fitted at the base todecrease the heat generation in the tube unit thus giving an added protectionto the unit.

Thetube is adjusted up / down by the mechanism provided in the pillar.

Babybassinet comes with fold down / drop down panels and a big shelf. Facility ofhead down position on both sides is also given.

Undersurfacephototherapy unit has 4 blue & 2 white CFL and is fitted at a distance of300mm from baby bed.

Thelamp unit is made of light weight Material, has 4 no of blue fight tubes withhigher intensity of light in therapeutic range and 2 no of white light tubes.CFL tubes last longer than ordinary tube light, requires less frequentreplacement The unit is fitted with special mirror coated reflectors forbetter reflection. Also has fold up facility during inspection of neonates orstorage and angle folding facility for using along with radiant warmer.
